No Kidding… Goats Milk is great for your skin!

All of our soap is enriched with our farm fresh, hand milked goats milk. To accompany our fresh milk, we use only quality natural ingredients including Australian Extra Virgin Olive oil, Coconut oil, Shea butter and more. We DO NOT USE Palm Oil or water in our goats milk soaps.

Goats milk soap will not dry your skin like most other soaps on the market. Goats milk is rich in fatty acids and triglycerides which nourish and moisturise your skin. This property alone makes it great for babies, people with sensitive and other skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dry/cracked skin.

Goats milk contains a number of vitamins and minerals which are important for your skin’s health. Of particular importance for the skin is the amount of Vitamin A and selenium it contains.

Vitamin A is essential for your skin as it stimulates and thickens the dermis, which reduces wrinkles and increases the blood flow to the surface of the skin. It is also important for skin repair, soothing acne and the maintenance of healthy skin.

Selenium is an important mineral for the skin as it helps protect against UV-induced cell damage, skin inflammation, pigmentation and it neutralises free radicals.

Goats milk contains ‘Alpha-Hydroxy Acids’ (AHA’s) which act on the surface of the skin by removing dead skin cells, thereby improving the appearance of the skin, making it smoother and softer.   Removing the dead skin cells also reduces the amount skin irritation associated with many skin conditions.

It doesn’t matter whether your skin is healthy or damaged and needing repair, everyone can benefit from using a natural goats milk soap. If you are not sure what your skin needs are, it is best to start with our Good Lifestyles Today Unscented soap.

Simplicity is Key. Don’t overload your skin.

About the Family

We are a family run small business. Our family consists of Lenitia whom is a Naturopath, Shane loves his tractor and milks the herd. We have 4 kids that we home school (except for our littlest who is too young at present). Our aim is to all chip in and apply all that we are, in all that we do. We have a genuine passion to help others and to share our experiences along the way.

About the Property

Our property is located in South East Queensland, in the Somerset Shire. We are situated on the outskirts of the Somerset Dam which feeds into the Brisbane Water Supply. We are blessed with just under 10 acres of land. Our intention is to use all of the land and become as self sufficient as possible. Home to our herd of Dairy Goats, some Cattle (Dairy and Beef), Chooks, Ducks, Guinea Pigs, Birds among other critters. Crops will vary with annuals and perennials being planted.

About the Goats

We started with our Saanen goats in 2009 so that our children could reap the benefits of raw goats milk. We introduced Anglo Nubians into the herd for higher butter fats. Since then our paddocks have been a joy to watch with happy, sun loving goats. They make perfect friendly companions, being curious and happy.

Our aim is to provide our customers high quality dried herbs, both in organic and standard, even powders. Our dried herbs are all food grade and are intended for herbal teas and other culinary uses.   Some herbs lend themselves toward herbal craft as well. If there is a particular herb that you are wanting that we do not stock, please let us know and we will try and help you.   We offer small sized packets up to bulk sizes.
